How to delete cookies and browsing history from a web browser.

How To Delete Cookies And Browsing History From Firefox

Open Firefox. You can do this by clicking the Firefox  icon on your desktop, clicking the icon on your status bar, or by  selecting the program list in your start menu.

Click on the Menu Bar

Select the History Icon. This will open up a listing of all the URL addresses you have visited.

At this point you have a choice to delete all or simply select the URL that you need to delete.

 

The easiest way of deleting your browser history is to hold down CTRL + Shift + Del and it will display a "Clear Recent History box where you'll have the choice of deleting a time range to clear.

How To Delete Cookies And Browsing History From Google Chrome

From the "Menu" button in the upper right corner of the Chrome window, choose "More Tools" > "Clear browsing data..."

In the screen above, Select the period of time you wish to delete cached information using the "Obliterate the following items from" drop down menu.

Also from here you can choose "Cached images and files", "Cookies and other site and plug-in-data", "Browsing history"

  1. Click on "Clear browsing data".

From the Menu bar select "Tools" then "Internet Options.

Select the "General" Tab.

Click on "Delete" to take you to the next screen below.

Here is where you'll check the boxes you need to delete in your browsing history.

Checked the boxes and click on delete.

In the next screen click apply and ok to accept the changes.
