What To Do When The Printer Wont Print
Most printers at THQ are connected via USB here are some general steps you can take to help troubleshoot your printer issue.
1. Make sure that the printer is on.
2. Check that you sent the print job to the intended printer. To make your main printer your default, click on your windows start button then click devices and printers. Right-click on the appropriate printer icon and select set as default printer.
3. Verify that the USB cable is firmly connected to both the printer and the computer.
4. Try restarting your printer.
5. Try plugging the printer into a different USB port on your computer.
6. Try restarting your PC
Try to print. If the error persists, please open a ticket with IT service department.
Unfortunately, paper jams happen. Follow the instructions for clearing a paper jam on your printer.
To clear jammed paper from the input tray follow the steps below.
1. Try to follow the instructions on your printer’s control panel (if available).
a. Check to ensure the type of paper being printed is supported by your printer.
b. Straighten the stack of paper in the printer's tray when you refill it.
2. Pull out the input tray.
3. Gently remove any jammed paper from the area.
When removing stuck paper always pull it out straight with both hands to avoid tearing it. Smaller pieces are more difficult to remove making it take longer than usual.
3. Insert the input tray back into the printer.
Try to print.

To clear a jammed paper from the rear of the printer follow the steps below.
Clear a paper jam from the rear of the printer.
- Turn off the printer, and then disconnect the power cord and any other cables.
- Turn the printer so that the rear access door faces you.
- Press the two tabs inward on the rear access door, lower the rear access door to open it, and then remove any jammed paper.
4. Press the two buttons inward on the paper path cover, and then pull the cover out of the printer.
5. Remove any jammed paper. To avoid the paper tearing, use both hands to pull out the paper. You might need to use a flashlight.
6. Insert the paper path cover back into the printer.
7. Close the rear access door.
8. Reconnect the power cord and any other cables to the rear of the printer, and then turn on the printer.
Try to print. If the error persists, please open a ticket with IT service department..
How to cancel or delete a stuck print job in the Print Queue
- Click on the Start Button to open up Start Menu.
- Click on Devices and Printers
In the Devices and Printers screen below..Highlight your printer and right-mouse click on it to bring up the printer Properties screen.
The Printer Properties drop down displays the menu , Click on "See what's printing"
The following screen below opens and displays all print jobs that was sent to the printer.
- Click on an empty area within the print queue screen.
- Press the "Ctrl + A" keys on the keyboard simultaneously to highlight all the print jobs waiting to be printed and hit the delete key on your keyboard.
- Alternatively, you can also place your mouse pointer on the highlighted queue, hit your right-mouse button, select Cancel to delete the queue.
