Connecting To The New Xerox Network Printers

This article will show you how to connect to the new Xerox network printers at THQ.

 

This can be done by submitting a ticket to the help desk or following the simple steps below.

First delete your current Xerox network printers.

Windows 10 users: Click the start button go to Devices ----> Printers & scanners select your old Xerox printer. Highlight it and select Remove device.

Windows 7 users: Click the start button then click Devices and Printers. Right click the Xerox network printer you wish to remove and select Remove device.

Now that we have removed any associations to the any old Xerox printers we can begin the process of adding the newly installed high speed Xerox printers.

1) Windows 10 users: Click the Windows flag and type \\usethqps\

Windows 7 users: click the Windows globe and type the same path as above. \\usethqps\

A window will appear that shows a list of all Xerox network printers within THQ.  Right click on the printer you want to add and click connect.

This will add the Xerox printer to your list of available printers.

Note: You can add and print to any printer that is listed.  You are not restricted solely to the printers listed within your department.
